This week’s headline items: the last Quarter Moon in Cancer becomes exact on Monday afternoon; Jupiter starts to slow down (aka “station”) on Wednesday, preparing to start its 4-month Retrograde phase; on Thursday, Pluto starts to slow down again, preparing to end its 5-month Retrograde phase; Mercury changes signs from Virgo to Libra early Thursday morning; lastly, the Balsamic Moon phase begins on Saturday late morning.

There will be three Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Tuesday morning (for almost 3 hours), Thursday evening (for 35 minutes), and Saturday late evening (for a little over 6 hours).

Before we get to this week’s Forecast, please keep in mind that…

We are currently in Eclipse Season, which lasts until Oct. 24th. We are between two eclipses: first, the Lunar Eclipse in Pisces-Virgo, which occurred on Sept. 17th/18th and will be in effect until Oct. 17th; and second, the Solar Eclipse in Libra, which will occur on Oct. 2nd. We will feel its effects until the next Solar Eclipse in late March 2025.

Monday, Sept. 23rd:

Monday, the Moon remains in chatty, versatile Gemini all day; it will journey there until next Tuesday late morning.

Until then, we like to learn, connect, and interact as much as possible. “Busy” feels good: connecting online, on the phone, or sharing face-to-face, preferably multi-tasking all the way…

The one thing we can do without is boredom: If our mind is not engaged in some way, we might as well curl up and play dead …

Monday morning, we are invited to stretch and grow. Our commitment to spiritual self-mastery, towards being in the present moment, calls us to make some adjustments with the outer world.

Ask yourself: What might be a creative way to stay connected to others and committed to practicing trusting my intuitive knowing? (Moon in Gemini squares Saturn in Pisces, exact at 7:58am EDT)

Monday evening, we have a tendency to think big and maybe feel a bit scatterbrained or at least have a restless mind. Our desire to share and gather information is quite strong.

We see lots of opportunities and want to move on them fast. Patience is probably not at the top of our list. However, optimism is quite strong. (Moon in Gemini conjuncts Jupiter, exact at 6:39pm EDT)

Monday late evening, we may want to consider connecting with others, socializing, and taking a compassionate approach toward yourself and others, especially regarding personal goals and passions.

Ask yourself: what if a compassionate approach towards myself and others made for more fulfilling connections?(Moon in Gemini sextiles Chiron in Aries, exact at 8:45pm EDT).
